Stress in Homeschool.......

Many of you national schoolars think that homeschool is fun and nice. I use to think like that too before I came to this school. But now when i'm here, I really struggled through my work. Its not that easy you know ( for a person like me). In the test, you must score at least 80 marks to pass. If you do not know what am I typing, let me explain to you more. In homeschooling, you can either study and do your work at home or go to a place like normal school. The books are not really thick. Each grades will have 10 books and 10 different topics. Each book will have 2 or more self test ( usually 3). These self test will test you on the chapter in the book. If there is 3 chapters, there will be 3 self test. After you completed the whole book, you will have to sit a major test ( just test). We call this test the Life Pac test. After the book's name. To pass the Life Pac test, you must get at least 80 marks and above if not, you will have to sit the Alternate Test. If you still can't pass the Alternate Test, you will have to do oa second time. If you fail again, you must erase all the self test and redo it again. After completing the self test, you must do the Alternate Test again. If you can't pass, you will have to erase the whole Life Pac book. When you are done, you will have to resit the Alternate Test. If you still fail, you just have to erase the whole book again like before and redo it again.

First day of school..... after Chinese New Year....

Today, the new rules was enforced. Everyone have to wear collar t-shirts. So today is the first day I see everyone wearing collar t-shirts. Its so weird and its not like the old days again. Oh ya during our stay in Klang, all of Marks fish died because of lack of food amd when we reach home, the whole place smelled like rotten fishes, yuck. Cookie( the hamster) live just like normal little fella :-) Ok thats all about the new year story. Actually, new year is just about visiting, ' ang paos ', eating and more of eating. Thats all :-)

Back to Subang....

Today, I just came back from Klang. This year's new year was actually the first year we pack up from Subang and stayed at my Klang home. Wow. It was a totally diferent feelings all together. We usually just go to my grandparents place during new year when we are still in Klang. Now, since we are in Subang, we pack up and spend a few days in Klang :-)

Chinese New Year this year.....

This year, Chinese New Year isn't that interesting and fun anymore. Its just like normal visiting my grandparents on normal days. Just that we had dinner and have my cousins around. On new year's eve, we had dinner at my grandparents place as usual. The next morning, we went over my grandparent's place again. We had " saw mee" ( my dad's family recipe ) for breakfast then we went over to my great grandma's place to visit them as we always do every new year. After my great grandma's place, we went over to my dads's aunt place. Then we can go where ever we wanted after that. :-)

Down with stomach ache :-(

Yesterday, around 2 something in the afternoon, I had stomach ache for whatever reason I don't know. So I didn't go to church ( Service was yesterday because many people will be going back to their home towns) Today felt a little better already so hope that I will fully recover before Chinese New Year. If not I will not enjoy my new year this year.

Teacher Alicia.....

When i'm in Teacher Alicia's class, I found out that she wasn't that bad actually. Yes she might be slow because of her old age but she isn't that bad. She also do not answer our flags but she can teach. Seriously. I didn't understand my math problem and she help me with it. She might be a little weird sometimes and when she speaks, sometimes I could't hear what she says but she is a kind and loving teacher :-) Last year, when I was in Teacher Elaine's class, when I hear news from my friends about her, I thought she was much worse than Teacher Elaine but both of them are equally good. Both of them are good with their own method. Teacher Elaine with he strict rules and Teacher Alicia with hers. Both of them use their rules because they love us as their students and they want us to excel in our studies. :-) Thanks teachers.....

The most rediculous rules..... EVER..... ( for the guys I don't know about the girls)

Today was the first day of school. It was pretty good I can say but the rules are the most EVER..... ( for guys.... don't know about the girls) The 2 most ridiculous one are as follow.....

1. Hair must not be spike up ( understandable) AND fringes CANNOT touch your forehead.... !@#$%^&* if hair cannot go up and cannot go down ( spike up and fringe down) then go WHERE ??
2. Only shirts and colar t-shirts allowed. Colar t-shirts must not have stripes or big, fancy and colourful patterns. Only plain ones with just small tiny patterns on the side.

What kind of rules are this ? They expect us all to cut BOTAK and dress up as NERDS !!!!!!No way man. Maybe the shirt thing is not so bad but the hair thing..... Haiz... New year, new class, new teacher, new and ridiculous rules... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. This year is gonna be bad. Thank God jeans are allowed.

Yippeeeeeeeeee......

Yippppeeeeeeeeeeee for me because schools starting tomorrow..... Its such a long holiday.... tomorrow is the first day of school....New teacher, new friends (hope not irritaiting ones ), new year, new resolutions, new class, new sit in class, NEW EVERYTHING...... Can't wait for tomorrow. I wonder what it will be during the first day of school. Hope no bad stuff will happen on THE FIRST DAY of school........
